IM WANTING TO ENROL IN A COURSE, HOW DO I DO IT.

Once you have selected your course you may enrol on line at www.successresources.com.au/enrol

If you are enrolling during business hours (8.30 – 4.30) and have any questions please feel free to call us on 07-3807-5506.

Enrolling out of hours and have questions please just email us atadmin@successresources.com.au and we will respond during the next business day, please make sure you leave a contact number.

WHAT IS A USI

A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is a reference number made up of numbers and letters, unique to each student.

This USI allows you to link you previous and future VET qualifications into a single authenticated transcript, through the National Vocational Education and Training Data Collection, and prevents you from losing your record.

This lets you see all of you training results, from all your previous providers.

A USI Number will stay with you for life, and must be recorded with any nationally recognised VET course you undertake.

HOW DO I GET A USI?

You can register for a USI online, at NO COST to the student. You can create a USI doing the following:

  1. Log on to http://portal.usi.gov.au/student
  • When applying for a USI, you will be required to supply one of the following valid forms of ID:
    • Driver’s Licence
    • Medicare Card,
    • Australian Passport
    • Visa (with Non-Australian Passport)
    • Australian Birth Certificate,
    • Certificate of Registration by Descent
    • Citizenship Certificate
    • ImmiCard
  1. Click on ‘Create your USI’.
  2. Follow the prompts to create your USI account.

You only ever need one USI. Just like a tax file number, it is unique to you, and is yours for life so keep it safe.

I MAY HAVE A USI BUT CAN’T FIND OR REMEMBER IT?

You may already have an USI if you have done any nationally recognised training which could include training at work, completed a first a course or RSA (Responsible Service Of Alcohol) course, have a white card, or studied at a TAFE or training organisation

You can use the forgotten USI link https://www.usi.gov.au/faqs/i-have-forgotten-my-usi

and simply enter the email address or mobile number and date of birth that is in your account, or enter a few of your personal details to retrieve your forgotten USI

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR SELECTED COURSE?

On accepting your enrolment we will set you up with your online portal where you will be able to login with your username and password.

Your username and password will be emailed to you along with all the how to’s and a request for you to give us a call so you can log on while we chat on the phone just to make sure you have logged in successfully and we can give you a quick run around of the site.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I FAIL IN AN ASSESSMENT

There is no failure only feedback with our courses unless you just don’t do it. If you feel you have completed your unit/module to the best of your ability, then please submit it. Your trainer/assessor will mark it and if there are any areas we feel aren’t quite complete or that maybe you have misunderstood the content your trainer/assessor will give you a call to discuss and if required  you may be asked to resubmit some of the answers. Super simple, we are here to help you every step of the way. Remember no question is a dumb or silly question it is just a question.

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN I HAVE PASSED A MODULE?

When you are in the login portal there is an area that will show you how you are travelling.

Not yet competent, assessment pending, competency achieved etc – we will show you this when we go over your login

 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR ANY UNIT/MODULES TO BE MARKED?

Once we have received your assessment and providing it has all be completed signed and dated we will mark your unit/module within 48 hours of receiving however it may take up to 72 hours depending on our current workload. We are a boutique RTO and our aim is to get your unit/module done within 24 hours of receiving but sometimes due to high work demand it may take up to 72 hours.

 

 

DO I HAVE A LIMITED TIME TO COMPLETE MY COURSE?

We do initially have an acceptable length of time to do your course and this will be stipulated on the website.

We all know life just sometimes gets in the way and we here at Success are no different so if you need to extend the course just give us a call and we will extend it free of charge.

 

 

 

WHAT PRIOR EXPERIENCE DO I NEED TO BE ABLE TO APPLY FOR A COURSE.

Most of our courses have a Nil entry requirement and is stated in the information regarding your selected course.

 

 

 

 

WHAT IF I CHANGE MY JOBS, COMPANY , PHONE NUMBER OR ADDRESS DURING MY COURSE STUDIES?

It is your responsibility to inform us here if you do any of the above as we need to keep your records updated.

 

 

 

 

 

WHEN DO I GET MY CERTIFICATE OR STATEMENT OF ATTAINMENT?

On completion of your course you will receive a congratulations you have successfully completed your course and a certified copy of your Certificate/Statement of attainment.

If you have completed an accredited course your certificate will be sent registered post and will arrive between 5-14 business days.

WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED HELP THROUGHOUT MY STUDIES?

Our admin team, including your designated training assessor, are available to speak with you directlyMon-Fri, 8:30am – 4:30pm via phone or email Just call 07 3807 5506 for our admin team or email admin@successresources.com.au

You will be given your designated training assessor’s contact details as part of your enrolment process.

CAN I KEEPT HE COURSE NOTES?

Yes. All course notes can be downloaded as a PDF and saved to your desktop for future reference – even after you have completed the course.

IS RPL (RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING) OR CT (CREDIT TRANSFER) AVAILABLE TO ME AND HOW DO I APPLY FOR IT?

Yes, each course includes an RPL assessment. You can select this as an option when you enrol. A training assessor will then contact you to determine whether it is sufficient to mark off any course work. For further information please call our friendly admin team.
